We are looking for a Business Analyst with IT Finance experience to support London Borough of Redbridge. This is a crucial role for their IT replacement project and involves working with the business stakeholders to define one of the most important system connections, ensuring that key benefits from system functionality are achieved, while also meeting the technical aspects of financial accounting for Housing General fund and the HRA.


Expected contract length:

Initially 3 months, with potential extensions.


Who the specialist will work with:

IT Replacement Project Manager and the Head of Housing Systems and Resources.


What the specialist will work on:

Analysis of the processes and procedures between a new housing management system and the corporate finance system. This will include process mapping 'As Is' and working with the service to define 'To Be', with particular emphasis on the design of financial forecasting for temporary accommodation and include the technical aspects of the Housing Revenue Account. Analysis should highlight the benefits of changing process and procedures which once agreed will feed into the configuration of the new housing management system.


Address where the work will take place:

The IT Team for London Borough of Redbridge is based at Lynton House, Ilford. However the majority of the team are working from home due to Covid-19 and this role would be expected to do the same.


Working arrangements:

Working remotely from home due to Covid 19. Occasional requirement to be onsite to collect/return IT equipment. Remote teams meetings and regular check point sessions with the project team.
